Hoot is all good - Normal Operations
Green Slow Flash – Connected, Tank Heating Off
Red Slow Flash – Connected, Tank Heating On
Yellow Slow Flash – Connected, Upper Heater Testing
HOOT NOT CONNECTED TO WI-FI - TANK IS WORKING
Green Fast Flash – No Connection, Tank Heating Off
Red Fast Flash – No Connection, Tank Heating On
HOOT IS IN SET UP MODE
White Flash – Setting Up WiFi Connection
Green/Yellow Fast Flash – Device in app connection mode
HOOT CONNECTED TO WI-FI - PROGRAM NOT RUNNING
Green/Red Slow Flash – Connected, Override Mode

HOOT IS ALL GOOD - NORMAL OPERATIONS

Green Slow Flash – Connected, Tank Heating Off
Red Slow Flash – Connected, Tank Heating On
Orange Slow Flash – Connected, Upper Heater Testing

HOOT NOT CONNECTED TO WI-FI - TANK IS WORKING

Green Fast Flash – No Connection, Tank Heating Off
Red Fast Flash – No Connection, Tank Heating On

HOOT CONNECTED TO WI-FI - PROGRAM NOT RUNNING

Green/Red Slow Flash – Connected, Override Mode
Flashing RED - voltage should be 240V.
GREEN slowly - voltage should be 120V or zero.
Flashing GREEN quickly – wait to slow flash.

HOOT IS IN SET UP MODE

Orange/Green Fast Flash – Device in app connection mode

RESETTING THE UNIT


• Hold RESET button for 10 seconds and then press POWER button to on position (in) to    
  power up Hoot smart device

RECONNECTING TO WI-FI


• Press the POWER to turn off Hoot smart device (out position)
• Press and hold the RESET and POWER buttons simultaneously to reset WiFi credentials.  Hold button until front panel LED is fast orange flashing (may take 10 seconds to 2 minutes)
• Re-enter Wi-Fi credentials at hootwater.cloud
